Savings come from content that repeats across requests — system prompts, tool definitions, long documents, conversation history. The more conversations you run side by side, and the more requests each one sends, the more of that repeated content can be served at cached prices. A low-volume app that sends a handful of unrelated requests will see little difference.
Savings are available today for Anthropic and Google Gemini. OpenAI and xAI requests already run through LEANOX.AI, with full Logs and Analytics; savings for them are coming soon and will start automatically, with no change to your code.
